Meals to Machans Beach Community Recovery Hub

The Rotary Club of Cairns West cooked 190 meals for the Machans Beach Community Recovery Hub last night and delivered the meals today.

The hub is continuing to support the community and those affected by the flooding post tropical cyclone Jasper in December.

Previously we had cooked meals and provided them to the Holloways Beach Hub.

The organisers of the Machans Beach Hub reached out and we responded as soon as we possibly could with more cooked meals.

The hub is being ran entirely by volunteers, who themselves had been affected by the flooding.
